Henri Deschamps was born in 1898 in France and died in 1990. He was a French graphic designer, best known for his collaboration with the greatest modernist artists such as Pablo Picasso, Georges Braque and René Magritte. He was able to take their paintings and convert them into lithographs by making original prints at Atelier Mourlot, a famous commercial printing house located in Paris. Deschamps’ own work often depicted the landscapes of the French countryside in an impressionist style, using mostly primary colors.
