It is a long-haired Afghan hound with a black and white color. It was finished in the overglaze painting technique. On the bottom there is a stamp with the painting number: C-195-1263. The figures from \u0106miel\u00f3w represent the style of the so-called <em>New Look<\/em> or the T<em>haw period<\/em>, characterized by biomorphic lines, asymmetry and abstract patterns.<\/p>\n<p>Kazimierz Czuba (1934-2017) graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Zamo\u015b\u0107. From 1957, he worked at <em>Zak\u0142ady Porcelany \u0106miel\u00f3w<\/em> in Poland as a visual designer. He practiced oil painting, watercolors and painting on porcelain. He was a member of Grupa 10 from 1976. In the 1960s, he obtained a permit from the Ministry of Culture and Art to pursue the profession of a visual artist in the discipline of workshop art (porcelain design). He took part in exhibitions of the Institute of Industrial Design and the International Ceramic Fairs in the field of industrial design.<\/p>\n<p>The Porcelain Factory in \u0106miel\u00f3w belongs to one of the oldest Polish companies. The factory in \u0106miel\u00f3w was established in 1790 by a guild association of potters from \u0106miel\u00f3w and Opat\u00f3w. It gained great popularity in the mid-19th century. Even after World War II, as a state-owned enterprise, it delighted with its service patterns and figures.
