This set of two Kevi swivel chairs designed by the twins Ib and Jorgen Rasmussen for Fritz Hansen in the 1958. The black seat and back are adjustable by means of a handle. The back is leaned. Popularity of this chair is due to its timeless design, but also by the invention of the Kevi wheel in 1965 by J\u00f8rgen Rasmussen. Because of this innovation chairs were easier to move. J\u00f8rgen Rasmussen received a lot of recognition and many awards for his invention. Many believe that the Kevi wheel is still the best, because the Kevi castor is an iconic Danish product. It was originally developed for the Kevi Chairs, but its range of potential applications is far wider. The Kevi castor is used in many products for various firms, such as Bang & Olufsen and Philips televisions and IKEA products. When Kevi and Fritz Hansen merged in 1986, the production and marketing of the Kevi Series came under the Fritz Hansen brand The Kevi chair was included in the Danish Design Project, which involved furnishing the Museum of Modern Art in New York with Danish design objects.<\/p>\n
