This swivel armchair was designed by Carl Straub and produced in Germany during the 1950s. The frame is made of wood, which is completely upholstered with beautifully patinated natural leather. The armchair has a characteristic profile, where the line connecting the seat with the backrest is visibly broken, and both planes are connected with each other while maintaining an angular rim. The armrests, also circular in shape, are also made of wood and upholstered in leather. The swivel base is made of anodized aluminum, and the cushions have original filling.<\/p>\n
The armchair is in original condition. The leather has undergone conservation. It has numerous traces of time in the form of abrasions, scratches, abrasions and patina. However, we believe that it fits perfectly with the style of the presented armchair. It is one of the few pieces of furniture that will fit into the atmosphere of both a penthouse and a warehouse, because it combines a modernist form with industrial accretion.
