Anders \u00d6sterlin (1926 – 2011) was a Swedish painter, graphic artist, illustrator and advertising artist. Together with Hult\u00e9n and Max Walter Svanberg, he founded the art group Imaginisterna in 1945. He also belonged to the art group Cobra,\u00a0where he tried mural painting. He illustrated books of poems and created scenography. For 15 years he was associated with the Swedish Telegram Agency in Malm\u00f6 as a cartoonist. Together with designer\u00a0John Melin, he made a 17-meter-long wooden wall at the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair. \u00d6sterlin has received many awards and distinctions. His works are present in many Scandinavian museums.<\/p>\n
