Anders Österlin (1926 – 2011) was a Swedish painter, graphic artist, illustrator and advertising artist. Together with Hultén and Max Walter Svanberg, he founded the art group Imaginisterna in 1945. He also belonged to the art group Cobra, where he tried mural painting. He illustrated books of poems and created scenography. For 15 years he was associated with the Swedish Telegram Agency in Malmö as a cartoonist. Together with designer John Melin, he made a 17-meter-long wooden wall at the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair. Österlin has received many awards and distinctions. His works are present in many Scandinavian museums.

Work in original vintage condition. The frame shows minor signs of use. Slight dirt on the passe partout.

The colors of the products shown in the photos may differ slightly from the actual ones. This is due to individual monitor settings and lighting conditions – the photos were taken in artificial light, which may affect the perception of colors. However, we strive to ensure that the photos reflect the actual appearance of the product as faithfully as possible. The offer may include photos of item in the living space, but these are for illustrative purposes only.
