This set of two minimalist chairs was manufactured in Germany by POL International during the 1960s. The chairs are upholstered in black natural leather with longitudinal stitching. The minimalist L-shaped base is made of chrome-plated steel. This model is likely a custom piece, created for an individual client. The chairs are crafted from the highest quality materials. It demonstrates exquisite, detailed, and meticulous craftsmanship. Their elegant lines and form are ahead of their time. Their silhouette is strongly influenced by postmodern HIGH-TECH design.
The lounge furniture manufacturer POL International Möbel GmbH was established in 1960. From the outset, the company has been characterized by high-quality craftsmanship and high-quality materials. In 2017, the company changed its name to POL International SITZMÖBEL GmbH and continues to design furniture exclusively to order.
The chairs are in original vintage condition, showing minor signs of age and minimal wear. The seat height is 46 cm.
