Description
This classic desk was produced in Denmark during the 1960s. It is made of teak in a warm shade of brown. Teak wood is very durable. The high oil content means that virtually no water seeps into it. The desk has six drawers, three on each side. The top is decorated with a hand-painted black and white geometric pattern in the Mid-Century Modern convention. The classic design, simple and distinctive aesthetics of the furniture mean that it will find its way successfully into many arrangements.
This desk has been partially restored keeping it’s natural patina. This is a piece of furniture finished according to the rules of the Upcycled Vintage course. Its form is original and dates from the 20th century, but the final finish has been changed by artistic invention or composition of parts from different original object. All treatment are performed by traditional methods, are consistent with the aesthetic of the age from which the furniture comes from and support the Zero Waste idea.
This desk is in very good vintage condition. It has minor traces of age.
