Description
This asymmetrical Art Deco sideboard was made in Czechoslovakia during the 1920s. This piece was finished in birch wood with irregular, strong graining, with visible burls. The wood has a warm, honey-brown color. The low chest is placed on a flat, wooden plinth and has shelves inside. This sideboard has three sliding doors with geometric eye-shaped handles. It is a rare and very original form of design. This kind of design refers to the classic forms of the Art Deco era, which smoothly transforms into the design proposed by the German Bauhaus school.
This piece is in very good vintage condition with a natural patina.
