Description
This crystal shaker was produced by QUIST Württemberg in West Germany in the 1960s. The cocktail shaker is made of high-quality mouth-blown crystal. It is a very interesting technique for creating patterns on glass: performed with the help of a mouth and glass rods. The Craquelé Glass was used additionally. In the result, the shaker got the noble appearance. The lid is made of chrome-plated stainless steel and has the integrated strainer.
Friedrich Wilhelm Quist started his activity in 1866 in Esslingen am Neckar. He produced tableware and accessories in the appropriate style of the time. Until the First World War, the focus was solely on the art of tableware. During the war and interwar period, FW Quist started production of armaments. In the 1970s, the company withdrew from the market.
The shaker is in its original vintage condition.
