Description
This modern office swivel chair from 8000 series was designed by Danish designer, prof. Jørgen Kastholm for Kusch & Co in Germany in the 1972. Kastholm exhibited his creations at many European and American exhibitions to establish himself as a designer. In 1969, he won the German design award “Gute Form”, the first in a long list. He began lecturing at the Wuppertal University in 1975 where he was appointed professor in furniture design and product development. This chair is upholstered in original black leather and the five star stellated base is made of polished aluminum with rollers. The chair has 360 swivel and tilting functions as well as height adjustment with gas pressure dampers.
This chair is in very good vintage condition with normal traces of use.
