Description

This set of 3 minimalist and elegant easy chairs were produced by Brune, German manufactory founded in 1945. This model was created during the 1960s but not for a regular offer. Those were maybe for an individual custom project. This set consists of three modules in black artificial leather / vinyl. The frame is made from chrome-plated steel. The backrest is movable and conforms to each position. This piece of furniture is an example of fine simplicity in design and quality made in Germany.

The Brune was founded in 1945 by Heinrich Brune – the future inventor of the folding kitchen bench. In 1959, the company was taken over by Wolfgang Brune, who started in-house furniture production, expanded the brand’s offer and introduced the company to new markets. The German manufacture exists to this day, still developing in the field of furniture art. The SID chair program, designed by prof. Andreas Ostwald, received the Interior Innovation Award.

The chairs are in original vintage condition with normal traces of age, minor scrapes and natural patina.
