This lounge set consists of a three-seater sofa and an armchair, was manufactured by the Swedish manufacturer Bröderna Anderssons during the 1960s. The sofa has three pairs of loose, black leather cushions. The side frames are made of solid teak with a strong graining. It is an honest and accurate project in every detail. It is innovative, but not a dominant element at interior. On the contrary – the sofa and armchair are elegant and minimalistic. Good design stands out over time and remains modern and attractive despite the passing decades. This timelessness is characterized by beautiful forms from the Mid-Century Modern era. In the case of a sofa set, the most important thing is comfort. It doesn’t matter how nice a piece of furniture looks if it is not comfortable. And this product from the Andersson Brothers’ manufactory combines the comfort and beauty of Scandinavian design from the 20th century.
Bröderna Andersens is a family business founded in 1946 by three brothers: Sven, Inge and Max Andersson. What characterizes Brödern Andersson’s tradition more than anything else is Swedish quality, craftsmanship and pride in creating each piece of furniture. The secret to the success of these artisans lies in traditional handicrafts. At Bröderna Anderssons, the entire production chain is kept in the manufactory. From the choice of wood types, through our own frame production, to the last seam.
This set is in original vintage condition. It has a natural patina on the leather, slight crapes, scratches and fading. The seat is 44 cm high. Armchair height 72 cm | Width 81 cm | Depth 75 cm.
