Description
This modernist sideboard was produced in Scandinavia during the 1960s. It is made of birch wood, which has different grains depending on the region of its occurrence. It is very attractive, hard and at the same time elastic and resistant to mechanical loads. The sideboard has a pair of sliding doors and the front is decorated with a copper, abstract relief. Round metal handles are finished in gold. There is a space inside the sideboard. The base is made of wooden legs that gently overlap the sides of the chest. It is a very visually interesting piece of furniture, made with extraordinary care and craftsmanship in the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic.
The sideboard is in very good vintage condition. It has been partially restored.
