Description
This asymmetrical Paletti desk was designed by Olavi Hämäläinen for HMN Huonekalu Mikko Nupponen, Lahti and manufactured in Finland in the 1960s. It is entirely made of brushed oak, due to clearly see the grain and unique texture of the wood. The raw, geometric shape of this piece perfectly matches into the Brutalistic style, while keeping a sharp and austere form. The exposed skeleton of the construction is the perfect frame for four drawers. This writting table is perfect for industrial interiors.
This piece is in original vintage condition. It has a natural patina, slight scrapes and discoloration due to the natural work of wood and use.
