Description
This set of four chairs was designed in 1963 by Edlef Bandixen for the Swiss brand Dietiker. The chrome frame with an elegant profile is invisibly connected with the backrest and the seat. These, in turn, are made of molded, curved beech plywood, on which you can see a beautiful pattern of wood. The simple design makes the chairs universally fit in any space.
This brand, founded in 1873 in Stein am Rhein, through sustainable and innovative design and implementation of the highest standards, became the leader of the Swiss design thought of the 1960s. In close cooperation with architects, the company created timeless products combining innovation, the best materials, consistent design and intelligent functional solutions. All this characterizes our chairs, which are popularly called the Bandixen Chair – model 2100.
This set is in original, very good vintage condition.
