Waldemar Lorentzon (1899 – 1984). He was a Swedish artist. His paintings were exhibited exclusively in Sweden and the only exhibition was held at the Mjellby Konstmuseum in Halmstad. Works by Waldemar Lorentzon are in two museum collections, the Ateneum Art Museum – the Finnish National Gallery in Helsinki and the Mjellby Konstmuseum in Halmstad. Belonged to the Halmstadgruppen. It was a group of avant-garde artists in Halmstad in County Halland, Sweden. They established a permanent showroom in Mjellby, now the Mjellby Art Museum in Halmstad. The extensive collection of Halmstad’s works is exhibited here.
