Description
This modernist chair was designed by Peter Kirkegaard for the Danish manufacture Høng Stolefabrik during the 1960s. This is model number 26. This model has a market name Ribbon Back, due to its characteristic shape of the backrest, resembling a ribbon. The frame is made of teak wood in a dark shade of brown. It is an excellent design with an extremely comfortable, curved backrest that perfectly adheres to the body. The seat and backrest are upholstered in an original salmon pink fabric from the 60s era. It is a well-thought-out design of piece of furniture. It will be perfect for the dining room as well as in the office or living room, and its form fits both modern and classic interiors.
The chair is in original vintage condition. It has minor traces of age, scratches, patina on the wood. The seat is at a height of 46 cm.
