Description
Extendable soffboard table by Tingströms Bra Bohag. The Sesam model was designed by Folke Ohlsson during the 1950s. Marked with the manufacturer’s seal and a low serial number – 23. Made entirely of solid teak. The Scandinavians are masters of functional design, so this time they did not disappoint. This piece of furniture is both a low coffee table and a full-size dining table for 6-8 people. It rises from a height of 55 cm to 75 cm. Due to a well-thought-out mechanism, it unfolds very easily, practically without the use of force. It unfolds to 110 cm from its initial depth of 55 cm. It is also equipped with a practical, ladder shelf under the table top, e.g. for the daily press. Its functionality does not disturb the coherent form of the furniture and the aesthetics of workmanship characteristic of the northern design.
The table is in original vintage condition. It has delicate signs of age in the form of scratches or abrasions.
